Yep, caught the Float FLying bug this past weekend, I was invited up to the Northwoods to a friends summer home to give it a try. I put floats on my Rascal and had a blast. It was alittle strange seeing your plane floating in the middle of the lake though. Now I gotta find a lake around me to try it again.

Congratulations, It certainly has its joys and I,ll bet the Rascal makes a fine float ship.

Now about that lake. From my limited knowledge of geography I kind of remember Chicago being right next to a really big one.

Whoops sorry I just could not resist.

John

How about the Yacht Basin at Meigs Field? Mayor Dailey won't mind.

(You're not paranoid if everybody really IS out to get you!)

Lake Michigan would make a great place to fly but I don't have a boat for emergency retrieval. Most of the lake shore around here is either private beaches or you need a city pass to gain access.
