The only one that I know of is the Vmar, and I haven't heard anything good about it. I wish someone else would offer one.

I have seen a couple of the Vmar kits and they weren't bad. Flew fine, looked good in the air. But like you have not heard a lot of good comments regarding Vmar.

Had, key word had, a Unionville Kit and rekitted it yesterday.

Might have to give Vmar a try. Going on vacation in August to a lake front property and was planing on float flying.

Jim,

I am just finishing the covering job on my Unionville Beaver. Is there any thing I should know that lead to the "re-kitting" of your plane?

I really like the "old style" Unionville kits, just basic kits that still take some modeling skill. With the Canadian $ conversion, they are good values. I have the Tiger Moth in the box I am going to start.

Not much around in ther way of a decent size with a good price. but the rc world is saturated with cubs. I think KMP made one but way over priced.

If you do check out the eflite beaver, throw the instruction book away. It is full of errors and you can put that POS together faster & easier without the instruction booklet.
