Dear Mr. Eray Savci,

we are at a point to clear-up a couple of things you are spreading malicious which are not the facts.

1.) After your accidently fire in the plane, you did NOT contact your local dealer Murat BURKEY about the situation and how to handle it. Why not ?

2.) You immediately start-up a campain in a personal way.
Beginning with "Definetly not being a very experienced person with turbines I am....

3.) You shipped the engine directly to evoJet in germany with a nice letter in german, thanks.
In this smooth letter you report a couple of full-power testruns on the ground with having problems of leaking-fuellines in the plane

4.) In this letter you where sorry to write us that your helper uses his polyester-jacket to distinguish a fire in the plane. This meltet jacked ruins the whole hot engine.

5.) In this letter you request: "...to solve my problem as soon as possible".

6.) The Jetronic of your engine shows a total of 5 runs and 16 minutes without any problem. Funnily your turbine-crash isn't recorded: START-UP FAILS is 0 and RUNNING-FAILS is 0.
The Jetronic is tested and performing well.

7.) The inspection of the engine come to a back-bearing failure caused by an massive overheating. This could be caused by many reasons !

8.) To be with you, we decide to replace the whole engine and ship it directly back for free.

Mr. Eray Savci - we NEVER had any contact before of after...
We never promised you anything you are talking about here !?
We did it smooth and quick, exactly as your letter requests...so what ?

I informed Mr.Murat Burkey about the situation and to check the installation in the plane with you.
It is not easy to discuss technical problems without having all the facts on the table.
If you have any further questions, please contact me directly: support@evoJet.de

Dear Mr.Hausmann,

I will answer exactly in your sequence;

1) It happened on a Saturday ,on my way back (it takes about an hour to the field) I called your dealer Mr.Bukey.I could not reach him that day.

2)Please read my first postings I absolutely did not start a campaign, but just asked for oppinions from people more experienced, plus sharing experiences even mishaps is one of the major objectives of RCU I very much believe.

3)I was told by your dealer to directly ship the engine to you so I did. There was no leakage..I said I did the last two runs because ther was some bubbles between main tank and UAT without leakage(I could not find any leak thats why I was still after the bubbles) .

4)This is ridicilous. There was a10-15 cm stain on the body thats it I STILL HAVE PHOTOS. I was being kind and appoligizing for sending the engine
DIRTY. not DESTROYED
5)Is'nt that normal..Don't we all want to be in the air soonest...Of course ı kindly asked for quick help

6)What do you mean by this? I wrote here and to you that ther was no falfunction record on the ECU it just kept the Temp reading extremly high for very long.

7)If you have seen and checked the ECU as you said during the whole run the temp reading was never over 780..

8)Yes,This is also the info I had through your dealer..And you sir, REPLACED MY BRAND NEW ENGİNE WİTH A USED ONE..THIS IS THE ACTUAL PROBLEM.
I never contacted you directly..Ofcourse ..I did not pay you..I payed the dealer. And as you just wrote 'He Promised on your behalf that I would recieve A BRAND NEW ENGINE soonest.

9) I and probably everyone reading this now after this 'odd questionable post of yours' have clearly understood what your business moral and ethical understandings are.

There are greater values than money in life Mr.Hausmann..I guess people like you never understand that...

The local dealer has just confirmed me that he shall replace the turbine with a Jetcat P160sx(brand new in box)... I am optimistic that promises will be held this time.

Eray, hope that is true. Not only will you have a much better turbine, but you will have great support.

Reading Arno's response is the main reason why threads like this need to be seen so others can see how people are actually dealt with.

Yet another long thread on how EVO customers are ACTUALLY dealt with.

I think Eray is mad he did not get a NEW turbine in replacement. Either way, this is a great reminder to have the proper equipment handy to put out fires when dealing with turbines. Eray, I am sorry to hear your turbine lost a bearing and hopefully the engine you received will run better for you.

Chad

I think this is were you lost your case . Even if he fry the rear bearing due to multiple fail start, the engne wouldn't reach idle Rpm to damage the turbine wheel. Dont be like this other turbine dealer i know.

Too late, he already is. Do a search history. Just that comment should tell you to shy away from EVO jet.

Hopefully Erays dealer will follow through with the jetcat exchange and then I hope that dealer will be compensated by Evo. If he is not compensated he should drop the Evo line immediately. Cavet emptor Evo!!

Evogate This kind of reminds me of the days when RAM RA Microjets was having problems with the Ram 500.
At the time I was trying to make a decision of Ram 500 or Jet Cat P-80. Im glad I chose the P-80
These forums are great for letting us know the heart of manufacturers and the level of customer service
they provide.

Dude, I wanna buy turbines from this guy!!!

You made out awesome on the deal if he comes through. I never understood what was so great about these turbines that they should be charging $100 less than JetCat and now I know..............NOTHING. Sounds like the price should be $500-$1000 less than Jetcat for what you get. For $100 more you can get proven reliability, outstanding support and a knowledge base of wealth anywhere you fly since most people fly JetCat. I dont think its too hard to see where the better deal is in this situation.

I have let this one run as it is clear that there is a genuine issue but it has been right on the edge of manufacturer bashing in a number of posts.

Please keep it factual.

Might look into Jet Central's line of turbines. Jet Cat's are a great turbine as well.

I don't know anything about this issue, but I can speak about EvoJet from personal experience. I've owned two and a very good friend has two as well. Neither one of us has had a SINGLE issue with the turbines and we fly A LOT. The power they put out is above the advertised specs and the throttle response seems more like my Desert Aircraft gas engines than a turbine. I have owned turbines from Jet Cat, EvoJet, and now Kingtech, so I have no skin in one particular manufacturer.

Thanks, I have 2 jetcats now and 1 jet central. I agree both great with great service and will likely stick with them. Just looking at what else is available and the Evo looked pretty high tech and advertises life time warranty now. After reading this thread and a few others, I think best to play it safe and go with what I know.

That statement is fitting with what happend with his purchase. Since then, he has moved on to a different mfg. of turbine and is very happy with the performance AND the mfg. support.

Completely understand. Mfg support is my #2 most important criteria in buying a turbine, with reliability being #1.

You are a wise man. I only wish this database of information was available to me when I was making my decision on what turbine to purchase. And to the Evo fanboyz, I have a very low time Evo 120 that I would make someone a hell of a deal on.
