The few more days will help me out. Saturday is fine. My gas rigger will be done and ready for testing. Some minor changes, like the 1/8 toe in. Sponsons modified. Got the QD inside the rigger. It's cool enough to go outside. I built a new Carb cover backwards left hand, got a new one coming.
Thanks Joe for the good service.
Bill I haven't given a PayPal gift in a while ,you may be right. The thick wall 5/16 will be tight with the cable. I used 5/16 the first time. Your saying no slop in the cable?

I use 5/16" .014 tubing for all 1/4" drives. Have tried the thick wall stuff. Be careful if annealing and don't overdue. I usually make gentle bends with a shaft in the tube as it helps prevent kinking.

Thick wall 5/16 brass is just too close for a proper setup. 5/16 thick is good for .187 cable. anyways it's going back together. I bent it with the cable inside . Looks good to me

I'll be running Saturday morning till 2:00.

Roger, I'll be around Sunday if you need any big boats thrown in. I need to move dirt to the pit area. The plan is to do that on Sunday.

Thanks Walt! And welcome to our thread!

Guys, How many drivers/pit man do you think the Stony Pond driving stand will accomidate? Been thinking I need to figure out something for the CD. Not sure there would be room for the CD and 5 drivers along the 16 foot long stand....

Put the CD and other officials under the drivers stand. It could also be a radio impound as well.

I spent more time with the .45 rigger. I'm getting the handling down. And when you shut it down the hull will coast for 30 ' Joe's new test fin was A-OK I may give Scott a run with his Eagle SGX in open rigger. Handles like a dream no bad habits. I like it

Hi All;
   I thought I'd mention it here before posting it on Jim's. I'm looking to sell my Insane Gen II Sport Hydro. The boat will be sold RTR, less receiver and battery. The boat has a Suicidal motor and steel pipe, nice combo. It comes with an extra cowl & prop. Quick boat. $500.00 plus shipping or will deliver to pond. Thanks, Walt

I like it Craig.
Walt is that the green hull ? After seeing Bill's hull blow everyone way. I know what hull to get. I just got too may hulls to race in now. Gas Sport Hydro is a hard class to win in., I still love nitro. I'm thinking 40 mono next season. I kinda like the .45 engine at the moment. My .45 rigger is fun, fast fun. That trill of speed gets to us all. I did get to run my gas rigger. A longer rudder is next up. Still in testing -the 45 is faster and has no bad habits.

Yup, .45 is a nice engine size. Doesn't drink too much fuel and plenty fast. I love my .45 O.S. Speedmaster mono and I keep thinking I should race it, but it would need to be tuned down. It runs too loose, but fun to drive and watch!

Craig I did get a nice CF hull from CKY Looks cool with cover on. Light and strong. This is a racing hull. Yes Joe's short kit is why we see the .45 coming back. The hull is very light. She does like fuel 14-16 oz per heat I think My tank holds 14.+ oz I have the Cooper QP on at the moment. 2 exits on the rear. I got that from Bill at a good price. I know what I have in the one pipe, needs nothing except needs to be a little quieter. I think ? sounds loud to me. The 3rd channel needle is working fine. Thanks Bill for the help. I need better radio equipment for anymore. Boris meter is always around I use it more and more.

Craig,

I'm going to miss the August Race in Elmira, so Rick and I will donate what we would have spent on that weekend to the fund. I'll give you a check at this weekends Elmira Race.
