Also a good looking hull by the way, good job.

no z-poxy used.. MAS flag...
I strengthend transom with carbon fiber... Inside both boats sealed one coat of MAS...

As I said, I would have used spruce glue blocks as I've seen CF fail in the past, but that's just my opinion and it's your boat

Rick. The builds look awesome!! I don't think you can go wrong adding some strength like you are doing. I am thinking more about vibration from the hull slapping the water, blowoffs, and the engine. If you hit someting (like Joe's boat!) all bets are off!!. Nice job. I think Tom is going to be happy with the build. I may have to limit his prop choices to keep him behind me!! Roger C.

Bill, Yes. Most likely Tom will run gas next season, but I am not sure it will be the Thunderboat. There is the thought that some of the Stony Pond critters would like to run an 'outlaw' thunder boat class that allows stock engines with more displacement...like the 28.5's, etc. I was thinking that I would turn my Gas Sport Hydro over to Tom to run in Elmira if he can get there. My thunderboat will remain IMPBA legal. I am planning on running that as well as Gas Mono and Open Rigger with the Cajun Bullet. I would also like to get my Stryker Cat back on the water so I could run Gas Cat again. If I run Nitro, it will only be at Stony Pond. Roger C.

Open rigger could be a big class next year!

It's hard for me to race more than three boats, so I may drop open mono for open rigger. So that would be 20 tunnel, 20 hydro, and open rigger.

Smart move in my opinion not mixing disciplines. When I ran mixed classes, it drove me nuts. I will run cat, sport hydro and open rigger. My Microburst mono is benched as I do not want to run four. CD'ing eats up so much of my time so it is a good thing Walt keeps me covered when I am busy.

Tom and Cindy, thanks for taking video. I took some but ran into problems uploading....

They moved a lot of dirt. It was a father/son team today running the dozers. A lot more to move still.

I`m building my first boat,.Easy-Vee from Zipp Kit ,should be finished by spring.Still don`t have any idea`s for a pond to run it in.
