The guys at JKAeroTech are fantastic to work with. My club is starting up a Combat group so we went to JK for our first kits. Five builders so far and each one seems to be pretty impressed with how these things go together. JK uses the pink insulating foam board and the stuff is really easy to work with. So far we only have three ships flying and of those three all are said to fly exceptionally well. I have the Corsair and it flies better than some wood ships. I am using the OS25FX with a 4oz tank. I am flying it with elevator, aileron, and engine, no rudder. I put teflon skids on the bottom at the low point of each wing gull, one forward on the fues, and one aft. The aft skid has a hole in it so I can tie on the streamer. It flies fast, tracks like it's on a rail, and general flying is a pure joy. Even blasts through the wind with very little bobble. I put a 1/4inch square spruce spar in the top of the wing set in epoxy, so the wing is very strong but weight came out a bit heavy. The airplane flies fine at the higher weight, but it is over the 3lb limit for official combat. I am at 3lb 4oz. Flight times are on the order of 9 to 10 minutes and I still have fuel on board. I would not hesitate in buying another ship from JK. I took my time and have 28 hours invested in building, and the result is one fine looking Corsair. It's now my favorite at the field. Hope that helps you out. Have fun, I sure am! Skydog - Bend, Oregon
