Hello,

How much fuel/oil mix needs to go through ceramic bearings in a KJ-66 engine?

I was told 6 milliliters per minute at full throttle... is this correct?
This seems very little to me, but then again, I am new to turbines, so I'm not an expert...

What is the danger when you pump too much fuel through the bearings (except for flames shooting out of the exhaust:p)?
I mean, how easily do these bearings start to skid? They are preloaded, so that should take care of it...

if you are new

isnt there a usermanual?
normaly you can use plain turbine oil they are all ok even if they say you cant mix them with fuel
however castrol tt also does the trick or any good outboard motoroil to mix

if i look around i dont see many problems in mixing they almost all mix to 1:40 or (5/6% oil in fuel)

i have 3 wren engines all of them run nicely and i burned more then 150 liters by now without any problems

to much fuel pumped:

welll i guess you have a ecu that wont let you do this

if this does happen it is mostly the priming sequence or you have a wetstart
it could damage your engine or run it extremely hot

also if the start is to slow you will see the temp go very high
if the pumpstart then comes in rapidly you will have also some flames coming

i suggest the next time you do a posting you may add:

ecu brand
rc used
battery,s used
pump used

and weather conditions sometimes
