The Super Brain 992 looks great but it doesn't discharge. I'm interested in getting a new charger so I can use lipos and this looks like a great deal. Do I really need one that will discharge too?

The only real time you'll need to discharge lipos is for long term storage, you can run them down to 3.7 volts per cell but using a charger with a discharge function is a little easier.
