Status: offline 		for a jr radio, putting a second battery with a second switch to an unused free channel, this will not hurt it.
Also do the batteries run down at the same time. only having two batteries just run longer? ect.....

Status: offline 		Yes, two packs will tend to discharge evenly. If you have one pack that is 700maH and another pack is 1400maH one third of your power will come from the 700maH pack and 2 thirds of the power will come from the 1400maH pack.
