Hey who is going to be there and what are you bringing?

I'll be there with a Sig PT-19 built in 1969 (and it shows! )

I live about 3 miles south of this location. As it stands now, I'm a surface runner of cars and trucks. I was up at the hobby store in Endwell that weekend and they mentioned the show was going on. On my way past, I had to slow down and take a peek. Looks like there was much fun to be had. Needless to say, the bug has bitten and I plan on picking up a trainer as soon as possible. What kind of schedule is held at Zaverton? I'm sure there are plenty of places for me to get started in the area but having someone with a bit of experience would be a great bonus.

I guess a more applicable question would be is there anything else planned at Zaverton through the rest of this year? Thanks for any input.

Tripper,

Just stop by the field any weekend afternoon & introduce yourself. The host club there will be happy to help you, I think it's the "Endless Mountain" RC club- it is a very nice flying site. Living so close you have it made!

As far as scheduled events you'll need to check with the host club. They were generous enough to let the VRCS use the site last weekend for our annual reunion since we lost our previous site.

If you like running the cars you'll love flying.

Scott

Right on and thanks for the help. I'm off for the weekend and plan on doing some digital video of my car so maybe I can swing by and say hello. As I said, I have 0 fly time and haven't picked up a plane yet but since the season is almost over up, I can wait till early spring to get a hold of something to beat up. Again, thanks for the input.
