Ok I got my zagi. I have a few questions.

1.) Is there any mods you can do like instead of balsa wood elevators make coraplast ones?

2.) I glued my servos in like i did in my other epp model but why did my glue eat the foam on this is?

3.) What can I do to make the elevators more durable?

Hey Storm!

1) Dunno, couldnt hurt to try. I have a feeling balsa is lighter than coro though...

2) What kinda glue are you using? The newer version of 77 has acetone and eats foam.

3) Not sure, I just got mine as well this morning .... Sitting at work staring at the box then out the window...then at the box...then out the window. Needless to say I wish I had it running....
I think the instructions say to wrap the elevons in fiber tape.

1. Coroplast elevons are much more durable but I would guess a bit heavier than light balso ones.

2. The new 77 glue will eat your wing in no time. I use probond to stick things and a very light mist of 77 to stick the covering.

3. Best bulld instructions are at http://www.clubzagi.com/zagippt/Zagi_build_files/frame.htm

Enjoy.

coroplast is more durable then balsa but the balsa will keep its shape better at high speeds as where the coroplast will twist, unless you use the 4mil but that will be addind excess wieght. if you want durability at slower speeds then use the coroplast. as for other alterations go to www.yourzagi.com
