For myself, I will be building a 2 piece wing. There is a mod. for a 3 piece wing as well. I included and extra rib to split the wing outside of the landing gear. All you need is .5 inch aluminum tube to join them.

Not much progress on the wing build to report, the Me109 rebuilt is taking priority. On the other hand, the mold construction is moving fast starting with cowl and other parts, the first kit could be out in 3 or 4 weeks!!

Here is some shots from the Mold Master:

I did that and it helped , once it was trimmed and drilled, only took around 5 minutes to pull it apart, a good sign.

The wings are so long, the glass table was too short. I had to get a 18x60 inch pine board to start the build.
Next I will build the spars.

Here is Nº 1 fuelage and parts out of the mold. The fuselage belly section is also molded to fit. The wing spar laminations are built so I can start the wing framing

Thank you Casey,

a bit more progress today. The spars were built and the joiner was also built out of ply laminations. The center box is built with ribs to hold it in place.

MOre to come this weekend,

Thanks Erans,
last night I framed the wing dry to see how everthng fit. Small adjustments here and there will be made to the Laser cut files but that's all. The wing joiner was ready to trial fit as well.

Foam cores!#? real airplanes have ribs!! One of the best parts of this hobby is framing a wing, specially when everything fits!
Here is the right wing framed, next is landing gear doublers and webs.
