EXTREME FLIGHT -> What's going on at EXTREME FLIGHT RC? (7/26/2003 4:56:02 AM)

I know many of you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the EXTREME FLIGHT RC ARFs. Believe me, none of you are as anxious as I! I am very excited to get these aircraft on the market and in the hands of all you aerobatic enthusiasts.
SO WHERE ARE THE AIRPLANES!!!!! The first shipment of aircraft, which will include the 60" Edge 540T, the 65" Extra 300LX, the 85" Extra 300LX, and the 85" Edge 540T, is ready to leave China. Although it will delay shipment by a couple of weeks, I have decided to return to China and do a final quality control inspection before the aircraft are loaded into the containers. I expect a lot from these aircraft just as you do, and I want to be sure they are up to my specifications. I apologize for the delay. Thanks to all of you who have inquired about our aircraft and to all of you who have placed pre-orders. I promise you you will not be disappointed. Thanks for your patience.
So what have we been doing here at EXTREME FLIGHT RC? Certainly not resting on our duffs. We have acquired a new warehouse/shop/office facility and been busting our rears to get it all rigged out. We now have a state of the art R&D facility and spacious warehouse. And just wait till you see what we've been working on! I just finished the first prototype of our new 68" YAK-54 and will begin flight testing tomorrow. I'm very excited about this one! I just weighed it this afternoon on our Hobart digital scales-8.37 lbs! This aircraft has over 900 square inches of wing area. It is powered with the YS 110. I'll have a hard time sleeping tonight knowing I'll get to do the maiden tomorrow. I have received a lot of requests for a larger Yak for 100cc engines. I believe in giving the people what they want! Monday I will begin rigging out the first prototype of the 35% 107" YAK-54! This thing is gorgeous, and boy is it big! After weighing all the components, I feel confident the aircraft will finish out at 25 lbs or less. We are also working on the 41% Extra and should be ready to fly it after I return from China. As you can see, we have been very busy over the last few months. High performance aerobatic aircraft are our passion.
We have a lot in store for the RC aerobatic community over the next year. Please bear with us as we continue to grow and evolve. I promise you it will be exciting! See ya at the flying field!
Best Regards,
