Status: offline 		I'm not a electronic tech but you can charge with a diode you just can not discharge. Here is a web site on how to jumper the diode if you want. http://www.siriuselectronics.com/

Status: offline 		Don't potentially void the TX warrantee. Open the case, unplug the battery from the circuit board, insert a "y" adapter. (many Futaba and Tower systems, a standard Y harness for servos fits.) for the cycler, use the servo style plug. You'll have gotten by the diode. You only have to pop the battery cover after the first time. If the TX needs warrantee work... you can pull the Y harness and send it in knowing you didn't void the warrantee by soldering inside the case.
