Will interfere or shorten the range of my Receiver? At all? Is it 100% safe to use?

I have used the 800mw Spylinker system on my Super Scooter which is on channel 38 (72mhz) and on my Goldberg Electra which is on 01 (50mhz) with no interference or loss of range of any kind. My father uses his on channel 42 with no problemos too.
My 900mhz Supercircuits system, however, pretty much annihilates my 6 meter gear but works fine on 38.
