jmulder..

I'm really loving the Zinger 14X4 that I modify. The stock Zinger 14X4 is not a very good prop IMHO, but with about 30 minutes and a belt sander you can really make a dandy prop. Lot's of thrust, spools up very fast, and doesn't add all that nose weight like an APC 14X4W (which I am not a very big fan of). I get 11K or so on the 63, it is a killer prop.

I just got a new pack of stock 14X4's and will do a little picture tutorial and put it in the Profile forum.

ChucK, I started a thread the other day about the finish up on the break in of my YS .53. When I was satisfied with the break in, it turned a 12x6 three blade at 10,580 with the high speed needle richened down about 1/8 turn. Some said that was too much prop, that I should prop it to turn in the 11s, I think it is about right. What do you think?

I think mid 10's is just fine...an 8 pitch in the 11's might turn up a little much in the air.

13x4W(thought the 14x4W was a bit much).
