I recently purchased the GM racing motor (purple bull) for my eco 8. Using the included 10 tooth pinion in the eco kit, I am unable to move the motor far back enough for the motor pinion to engage the maingear. Did anyone else experience this problem?

Depending on the distance you can file the slot a little so the motor pinion and main gear to match up!!!!

Not familiar with that motor but you might have to get a bigger pinion
