I just got an XTM Terminator, 2.6 hp, my first nitro car. Does anyone know where there any dirt tracks north of Houston? I live in Coldspring, Tx., close to Livingston. I would like to run it with other ppl. I am getting tired of playing by myself.

Thanks,

Bull_831

Thanks for the reply, ShOzz. How are we going to find that place? I guess the best try is to search the web. If I can find anything I will post it here. I guess I will have to make my own track at my place, all I need is some dirt. I have 2 acres. I wonder how many ppl are in this area that would be interested.

Thanks,
Bull_831

I found where they talk about it, but I can't find where it is. I'll keep trying.

Hmmm. That makes no sence to me. I could not get any of the pics. I gotta find out where rt.6 is.
I live about 30 miles north east of Conroe, Tx. , out in the boonies.
I think I'm going to build my own track. I live on almost 2 acres and have a nice spot in the back to make one. All I gotta do is find out if there is any demand in this area. I think a free track would be nice if there are ppl to use it.
Thanks for sending me the site.

i live pritty close to u and i know of 2 maybe 3 tracks and 4 hobby shops that aren't too terrible far. i live about 10 miles west of Cleveland. there are hobby shops in porter-Mike's Hobbyshop (about 20 min drive for me and building on-road now), Woodlands-Just Hobbies( last time i was there they had just built a track), New Caney-K&M Racing(great track with on site shop, about 20 mins. for me), and Larry's Hobbies down in Spring i think(south of woodlands anyway). i've been to and ran my xxx-nt on K&M's track several times. the ppl are very friendly there and usually can lend u parts. tons of pit space and great frequency system. u can get advice from about anyone too.

Mike's Hobbyshop is a great shop. u can get just about any major brand part there. if u can stand the drive, Larry's Hobbies has twice the inventory, but some of the employies(whatever) lack manners sometimes.

another thing, if u don't live in a subdivision, then use lots of weed killer and mow often.

Thanks, RC_Psycho, for the info, it's a help. Maybe the 3 of us can get together and run our cars together.
I don't live in a subdivision, where I live is acreage. I have almost 2 acres with a big back yard. I just got in from running my car now. I am also thinking of building a track back there.

Thanks again,
Bull_831

would love to hook up when i get there.

i'll be signing off line for about a week while i pack and move until i get a new service provider. so private message me or email me direct at info@worldofozz.com and when i get back online i'll get back to ya so we can hook up.

how old are you guys and what do you drive?

i have a hyper7 all decked out, an ultra mbx pro and just got my 1st on road but will not be assembling till i move,
also hope to get the savage SS next month.

(i traded for most the cars) the only one i bought is now my sons (he is 5) the hpi RS4 MT (electric).

i will be taking him every other week or so to visit some of his grandparents in New waverly texas and also to some land i have access to up in crokett/grapeland texas (about 200 acers). are either of those near you guys or is that further then where i;'ll be down in spring?

i am more then up for a local bash track. been working on some fun designs myself for one.

I drive an XTM Terminator. New Waverly is, I guess, 35 to 40 miles from me. My son and I had frogs about 15 years ago. I traded mine for an outbaord motor. My son still has his, but, it needs parts that I can't find. I live about 2 miles from Lake Livingston.

i almost got one of those Xterminators instead of my mbx.
will be cool running with ya so i can see the difference 1st hand.

i decided to go ofna last minute because there are no local hobby peoples out there so i figured getting parts would be a pain in the butt.

lake livinston sounds familiar but i am not sure where it is.
so from 1960/louetta how would you get to your area?

are you towards lake conroe then?

If you are close to 45, you would go 45 north to New Waverly exit. Go 150 east to Coldspring. I'm about 6 miles from the blinking light. I'm off 222. If you want to see a map go to Yahoo, they have maps for every where.

I kind of wanted an Ofna myself, but I got this car from the shop in Willis at a good price. I am dissabled and have to watch my money. I have a temp. monitor coming from Detroit that cost me less than $30.00, shipping and all.

By the way I am 53.
