RE: FrSky 2.4Ghz for JR Tx
I've been using the FrSky set since May and have experienced no problems with it. I just recently bought the Telemetry set. Quality is pretty good and the prices of extra receivers is very reasonable. They don't offer a variety of receiver as Spektrum does but then the prices are so much more reasonable. I also like the fact that it a hopping system similar to FAAST. Not much more to say. Most people who have posted in the Radio forum of RCGroups about the set, have been happy with it.

RE: FrSky 2.4Ghz for JR Tx
I bought mine in May from Smart-Fly for $80 and I have had very good results from it. I then bought a second Rx which worked as well as the first. I bound each Rx when I got it and have not had to rebind one time. The performance has been flawless. I am using the system in a JR 9303 Tx. .........RJ

RE: FrSky 2.4Ghz for JR Tx
Does anyone know if this system will work with JR transmitters from 10SXII - 10x?
These are not on the list in the FrSky ads, but use the same module as the ones on the list.
This is the list:
FrSky V8JT is compatible with JR transmitters following:
JR: 347, 388, 783, U8, PCM10, PCM10S, PCM10SX, PCM10IIS, 8103, J9303, MX 22, MX-24S, PX, 9XII

Dude it's already been proving. Come here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...8#post21321673
There is already guys that been using it for over 2 years. There is http://www.rcmodelreviews.com/ also there is people using it on jets. I invite you to go rcgroups. I just bought 2.4 telemetry receiver that is full range and 8 ch from aloft hobbies for 26 bucks. Isn't that so great!! YEA
Contact the guy that own rcmodelreviews he's been testing it for a long long time and he will tell you more info. Ask him about the jets.
.
FrSKY ACCST technology is proven, approved by many model associations, tested and reviewed as the leading Chinese 2.4Ghz R/C Technology. If you think DSM2 or FASST is the best, think again!
New FrSKY ACCST (Advanced Continuous Channel Shifting Technology) gives you secure radio communicatios in 2.4Ghz band. ACCST 2.4GHz system shifts 80 channels around hundred times per second in the 2.4GHz band. This means that the system is completely resistant to interference in that band.
The Two-way Radio System developed by FrSky provides an additional return link that would be used for monitoring the Rx’s voltage, temperature, location, speed and so on.
Features:
Advanced Continuous Channel Shifting Technology (ACCSTis our advanced tecnology it shifts channel hundred times per second and there is no signal conflicts and interruptions) robust frequency agility.
Easy to bind and very fast link-up.
Excellent reboot time.
True Diversity with two antennas.
All channels can be programmed with Failsafe, quickly and easily.
Quick and extremely stable in performance.
Precise and smooth servo response.
Extended range (1.5km-2.5km).
Receiver Specification:
Operating voltage: 3.5~10.0V
Power consumption: 100mA
Resolution: 3072
Analog voltage: 0~3.3V
Number of channels: 8
Range: 1.5km-2.5km
Dimensions: 56 x 25 x 14 mm
Weight: 12.2g

RE: FrSky 2.4Ghz for JR Tx
Hi !
I have been using the Frsky on my JR 9303 for over a year now, and i amvery pleased of it, no glitches at all what so ever.
I switched all my RX's to frsky 5 pcs ,all i can say it's well worth the mony, no need to replace your old radio, once you have this option.
The response is very fast, works much better than the original JR 2.4 module thats for sure.
Strongly recommend !!!! Up to date no issues what so ever !!

Also some receiver you can update to latest firmware or rom and also set some settings by connecting with a usb connector to pc. You can do this also to the module. There is second party that create software for this if you don't want to use frsky software.

Are you saying that there are people writing firmware/software for the FrSky module and receivers? I had not heard of this. Where can I find more information on this?
