Status: offline 		Still waiting on parts for the XB. Today was really nice, went to my local track and looked at some of the new stuff. Watched I guy flying his Parrot drone with his I-Pad, pretty cool. While I was there picked up some paint for the lid I have. Also needed to get a hub carrier for the Slash, ended up with aluminum, all out of stock hub carriers.

This is what I have done so far. Keep in mind this is my first attempt at painting. I plan on keeping it simple, red on top , and white on the sides.

Status: offline 		Ya, I was practicing jumping it on the skateboard ramp and ended up clipping the curb at about 30mph. I ended up breaking the front a-arm only. The problem is Tower is out of stock along with spur gears and some other stuff. I was going to order from another site but I'll just wait. Stock status shows end of the month. I plan on racing this buggy with the guys at my local indoor track. So I need to order spares on hand and some soft stick tires. It seems that a lot of them run short course but the track is small and tight and I feel a buggy will run better. They also said it would be fine if I wanted to run with the SCT. I need to change motors tho only allow 17.5 brushless.

But yeah if you are gonna be racing against 2wd corr trucks you will have a decided advantage lol.

Sucks to here about it breaking. You like the curbs though

Status: offline 		Here is the finished product. I still need to drill the body mount holes but the lid is finished.

As for racing sensor or sensor less doesn't matter. The classes mainly depends upon how many show up to race. The owner doesn't really want low turn motors and two cell lipo max. Saturdays and Sundays are the busiest for racing. The week days seem to be a more relaxed type of group and anything can run with whatever. I always work on the weekends so I never really get a chance to see the action on the weekends.

Status: offline 		Hey guys, I got my Sparrowhawk XT today, installed a Hobbywing 120A ESC, an XTM high torque servo and a Fly-Sky FS GT3B 2.4 ghz radio system. Still waiting for a 3900kv Tacon motor. Will post picks once the motor arrives. Very excited about the truck. I was wondering if anybody has tried Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo wheels/tires in it. Looking to buy a set to test them but if somebody has tried them please let me know.

I was thinking about the 1/16 revo wheels myself for my 1/10th 4x4 truggy, almost bought a set online, but after seeing them at a local hobby shop in person I'm glad i didnt.  They are definitely a good amount smaller then 1/10th stadium truck/truggy type wheels and tires.

Keep an eye on motor temps with the tacon, I have one on a 2wd truck and it stays cool, but a 4x4 might put alot more stain on it.  Cant beat them for the price though I have 2 and love them.

I run a 8th scale car as well and have a load of wheels with 17mm hex's and I may as well make use of them on my XT.

im still not sure id clasify it a monster truk tho. super low cg, low ride height, aerodynamic bod, centr diff, f & r sway bars included,

i tryd many times 2 roll it ovr frum sharp turns in grass.

not 1 time did it flip frum turning. all i cood say was wow. savge flux hp rolls frum jus lane changing,let alone full speed in2 full steering deflection.

TT dont advrtise it, but da motor & esc are rated for 6s max, but its geard for 4s, sinse 1 pak gav mid 140s motor, mid 130s esc, & 120ish bat temp
