Saito FA220 4-stroke full gas converted
Price reduction on March 19th, for $500 shipped.
Selling a Saito FA-220 AAC 4 stroke engine. This engine was sent to an after-market gas/ignition company for a full gas ignition.
Adrian did an excellent job in the conversion. The work included inserting a magnet on the prop hub accurately timed. A pick-up sensor installed, replacing the glow-plug with a spark plug, mated with an RCExl electronic ignition module.
A plastic insulator for the intake manifold, to isolate condensation, and coupled to a gas carburetor with extended throttle control arm. Included is also the tool (wrench) that came with the engine.
The engine was test ran on its return from the service provider, it ran beautifully. I don't fly large scale planes any more, might as well sell this beautiful engine to someone who could use a brute force for scale projects.
I am including the original nitro carb as part of the package, just in case you want to run it on nitro fuel.
Selling it with the full gas converted version, for half of the cost invested, $550 shipped by FedEx ground.
