OS Motor OMA-3815-1000 Brushless Outrunner Motor (BLM)
A rare find! This is an unused, essentially brand-new brushless out-runner electric motor from the unsurpassed Japanese OS Engines Co. It was mounted on a plane but never flown, it is in perfect condition and includes original motor mount and prop adapter. The OSM-3815-1000 is intended to replace .15-size nitro engines, and is suitable for sport planes weighing 2-2.5 lbs (32-40 oz) AUW.
Designed by O.S. engineers to be the new "gold standard" in electric power, this motor offers the same legendary quality and reliability that have made O.S. glow engines famous worldwide for 75 years.
Only O.S. brushless motors offer a ventilation system that increases efficiency and allows the motors to generate additional power. Key to this system is a unique centrifugal fan design. The fan draws air through specially angled ventilation holes, across the windings and over the magnets for greatly improved cooling.
