    $3,500
  • Location East Norwich, NY, USA
  • Condition New
  • Model 1/3 J-3 Cub
Description:

This super scale 1946 J-3 Cub is like no other. It was designed by using Piper J-3 factory drawings, making this model the most accurate Cub ever!

The model features welded chromium-molybdenum steel tubing cabin and landing gear with operating bungee shock absorbers. The fuselage, tail feathers and wing tips are made from 3/8" doweling stock. The dummy 4-cylinder engine is made of aluminum and CNC, manufactured to exact scale.

The covering is Solartex with rib stitching and pinking tape. The entire model is painted with KlassKote certified J-3 Yellow. The N registration numbers and lightning bolts are also painted.

The engine used is a DLE 55 Swing with a 24 x 6 Falcon scale prop. The instrument panel is made from Iflytallies instruments with the Cub logos. All servos are Hitec, high-torque with metal and titanium gears.

Flying weight is 30 lbs. The model flies exactly as the full scale J-3 Cub. It's the next best thing to owning the real one.

Hi, what is the wing attachment method? Are you interested in any trades, partial or whole depending on value?
I have a Maxford Jenny with Torqpro70 70cc 4 stroke eng., listed now on RC Universe, and a 120cc Viking EP, also listed on RC universe at this time.
Thx
