Hangar 9 Funtana S 40 NIB
Hangar 9 Funtana S 40, never taken out of the box. A stringer in the left belly pan is broken from shipping. Otherwise it's all there and all new. I just got home from travel abroad and clearing out some of the projects I won't get to.
$150 plus shipping from 08016

Jorge, i brought the box to the post office. The on line postage quote was incorrect, the actual shipping cost is $155! That is $100 more than the on line quote. If you still want the plane, let me know and I'll have to send another invoice for the additional $100. If you don't want it, let me know and I will refund your money.
Also, the post office says this is not a valid address:
Jorge Guzman
20 River Valley Park
Canovanas, PR 00729
Can you let me know your correct address?
Sorry about this, Ron

Looks like I'll be in E-city August 25, 26, and 27. Then I retire Sept 1 and will be there almost all the time. So if you want to meet while you're home, maybe Rocky Mount? If you wanna meet while your at the beach will you be near Kitty Hawk or Nags Head? That would be a lot closer on my end if that' s OK.
I'm in E-city now and don't have the airplane with me so can't get a pic for a few days, probably Tuesday. Without peeling the covering back to see, it looks like you would need to peel the covering back about an inch or two and replace a 1/4 inch square balsa stringer thats about a foot long. I have a bunch of 1/4 sq balsa that I can bring with me too. But I'll get a close up pic for you when I get home.

I tried to get a good pic of the damaged stringer. The first pic shows the damaged stringer. It's a piece of 1/4" sq balsa. The second pic is the other side, you can see how it's supposed to have a sharp edge.
