overseas money bank wire transfers
are these safe? has anyone been scammed by using one? the bank main office told me they were very unsafe (bankof america) and to avoid it unless you have a really good trust with the person. the bank tellers said they think it is safe. so what does everyone think?

Generally, you should be extremely cautious as you will have zero recourse unless specified by your bank. However, this is still a very common means of doing business in certain parts of the world.
