How long is an offer good for?

If you make an offer on something, how long are you bound to honor that offer? In other words, if you placed a bid on something and the seller just doesn't do anything, can they come back a week later and hold you to that bid? What about a month later or 6 months or more? Do bids expire after some period of time? Thank you

Offers are good so long as the ad is active. Once an ad deactivates, any open offers are also null.

If you feel you have waited a reasonable amount of time for the seller to respond to your offer, and decide you are no longer interested, you can withdraw your offer at any time prior to the seller accepting it through the site. You can withdraw your offer on the My Offers page in the My Market area of the marketplace.
