Default 5’ pt boat


Hi guys I am building a 5 foot PT boat I am going to run two 775 brush motors I’d like to use 2 onyx 1060 esc I also read that u should remove the power from one of the esc or take out one of the bec ,and battery’s the 3s 5200 lipo 2 one for each motor the esc will be ran of one y to the receiver for the motor channel I also like to know if I do run the LEDs of the receiver that I want to put on the boat or running late ******* any suggestions for what kind of radio I should use I plan on having the Gun Mounts 4 of them hooked up by y ‘ s of the servos to move back and forth or left and right so I going to need at lease a 3 channel or should I go 4 for a smoke system for the smoke Generator that’s on the back of PT boat thanks Rye

There are plenty of options out there for remotes. Do you want a trigger style RC car remote or an Airplane style remote? Futaba will always be a solid option in either case and I recommend having some extra channels available just in case. If you plan to use up to 4 channels, look at 6 channel remotes.

If cost is an issue you can look at some cheaper lines but I am a firm believe in the you get what you pay for ideology.
