Default Lipo Ratings 1P, 2P....???

What does the 1P and 2P on the battery ratings mean?

For example a 3S1P 5000mah compared to a 3S2P 5000mah battery....

I found this, but it doesn't really help me understand it all:

Parallel packs are almost always found with cells also assembled in series in
addition to parallel. For example, a common “series-parallel”
pack is “3S2P” as shown below, which is (a) 3 cells
assembled in series, plus (b) another 3 cells assembled in
series, and (c) both of those series configurations assembled
together in parallel.

S is the number of cells in a pack that are wired in series. P is the number of cells in a pack that are wired parallel. Series ups voltage and paralleling ups capacity.
