Lipo 8000 & Eflite charger question
Can I charge this battery (Lipo 8000HV 3S2P 11.1V Battery) with Eflite charger EFLC3115? I already own the charger, it says its a 3-cell 11.1v li-po balancing charger. Iwould order the battery with Align Balancing Taps I'm wondering if I need to buy a new charger for MaxAmp battery. The battery will be used for a Traxxas Rustler VXL. Thanks.

RE: Lipo 8000 & Eflite charger question
I wouldn't recommend it all. That tiny little charger only charges at 1.8 amps and that's gonna be on a small pack. You throw on a larger 3S 8000 and you'll be lucky if it can push .1 amp into the pack. Not only that but it will take the better part of a day to charge if it did work. I would suggest you break down and in vest in a real Li-Po charger that is made to do larger packs. Remeber that pack can be charged at 1C that's 8 amps. And balanced charged in about 80 to 90 minutes at that rate. 2C Charging is possible with a balance charger as well if you can find one that will do 16 amps.
Look here for the Hyperion line of chargers: http://www.maxamps.com/products.php?cat=33
