Looking to buy Lipo(s) and charger: Questions

Alright so i just picked up a TC4 & Mamba Max 5700 setup.

I'm in the market for some Lipo's and a charger.
I'm looking for a 3s lipo, probably a 5000ish mah, and average C rating.
I plan to just use the car for street/parking lot passes, no type of racing yet.

1. What different type of chargers are there?
2. Should i use a balance charger?
3. What is the benefits of a balance charger?
4. What battery do you recommend?
5. I understand the hard cases are for racing, but whats the benefit of the hard case?
6. All 3c are 11.1v right?
7. Should i charge the batteries in something sort of fireproof protection (i keep reading about this...)

Price range: Average. (best bang for the buck i guess)

Thanks!
I look forward to doing business with you again.

1. What different type of chargers are there? Here's what we sell: http://www.maxamps.com/products.php?cat=33
2. Should i use a balance charger? Balancer's are built into the chargers we sell.
3. What is the benefits of a balance charger? They are built in, no need for another device.
4. What battery do you recommend? Look here for your options: http://www.maxamps.com/products.php?cat=96
5. I understand the hard cases are for racing, but whats the benefit of the hard case? Added protection is the only benefit.
6. All 3s are 11.1v right? yes.
7. Should i charge the batteries in something sort of fireproof protection (i keep reading about this...) Yes use one of these: http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.ph...po-Sack&cat=33

Price range: Average. (best bang for the buck i guess) See the links I provided for Prices. Also be sure to check out our membership program. http://www.maxamps.com/membership.php

HV Simply stands for " High Voltage " the numbers on the pack are the mAh.

Battery tray size doesn't allow for it.

Oh i see. I didnt know the size could vary with MAH.

check out the zippy lipo packs that are at hobbycity.com, they are much cheaper and perform just as well. not sure if you can get a higher mah from a different manufacturer, but its worth a look around for one.
