    Hi mate,

Sometimes we make a post and it atract all the wrong responses. At least a real expert (someone I had met in 1997 at the World Jet Master in the UK) has contacted me and given some advice with the SM T-33. He is also flying one himself.

    - First, move the cg forward 5mm at a time until the landing is smoothed out. (I actually was at 195mm from L/E and is now at 190mm).

    - Then add some crow (I have put in 3mm up on both ailerons only on full flap).

    - Reduce full flap slightly and make sure both flaps are exactly the same. (I am now 125mm measured from the tip of the flap to the corner where the flap meets the wing at the fuse).

    - Add speed brake to slow the plane down if required.

    - Control decent on approach with throttle.

I guess the last two tips you already know. I will fly my T-33 again next weekend. After 45 years of model flying myself, my gut feeling is telling me that I'm now heading in the right direction.

    Cheers,

    Jan
