Hello Tom my name is Johnny I live in Houston Texas USA.I am so excited I am about to purchase a car for Spitfire and I'm interested in the IL 135 kolm engine- I have seen several videos posted on YouTube I'm not sure if they're yours there's one in particular I like it it's there clipped wings Spitfire that also has the il 135.
I would very much appreciate to find someone who has built this model who could give me a few pointers to avoid any pitfalls that you may have encountered.particularly I am concerned with strengthening the model so that he could handle the Il135 and also very concerned about cooling issues. I would like to go with electric retracts I think which would you recommend air or electric??
What servos would you use do you think hitec 645 MG would be sufficient??
So many questions I want to do this right but I know I'm going to need some help.thank you so much for your time Johnny
