Wow I read all of the thread- awesome but unfortunate that you had that slight problem with the kolm 135.
I'm about to order this setup- what suggestions if any would you do differently?? How long did it take you to build your spitfire?
Did you use air or elect retracts?

Hello kimhey, my name is johnny. I am brand new to the forum. And very excited & at the same time extremely nervous as I am purchasing the carf spitfire . It will be the biggest model for me and I'm especiallly thrilled about the kolm il135!! Wow!
I'm only on page 6 of the thread about the install of the il135 on the p51. YOU, Dr Scoles and lxtrim seem to be my biggest inspirations - I still have a lot of reading to do on that thread but need to know "where to start" on my project , what retracts, servos, wheels , ect,,,? I Just have begun my communication with Hans at kolm for ordering engine:-) havent ordered the spit kit yet still trying to gather as much info and get a parts/assecsories list .
