I have been following your thread on the CARF Spitfire, with the scale detailing and I just have a question regarding the model itself and with any modifications that can be done further to add more scale detail. From what I understand, the CARF spitfire is 23% quarter scale, with the fuselage being off by maybe an inch from true 25% scale, while the wingspan is off by about 8 inches to be truly 1/4 scale, coming at only 102 inches.

I am debating on weather it is possible to use other kits/parts on this spitfire from other kit designers; most notably Mick Reeves 1/4 scale Spitfire.

Is it possible to use Mick's 1/4 scale Cowl and mod it to fit on this CARF spitfire? I have a CARF Spitfire as well, and I am wondering if I could use Mick's cowling from his model to get a more true scale detail of the spitfire's profile.
