i just orderd the superbrain 977....how longdoes it take to fully charge a 4600mah?

It will depend on the rate you choose (amp = hr rate)
Since we won't know how much capacity is left in the battery when started there's no way to tell.
A good guess if the battery is empty is 55 minutes at the max rate of 5 amps. (5 amps delivers 5000 in one hr)
If you choose 2.5 amps it will double the time.

Below is a quick and easy way to figure this out. It's not 100% accurate, but close enough for estimation.
Capacity/Charge Rate x 60 = charge time in minutes
4600/5000 x 60 = 55.2
