    Super Brain 977

I have a Super Brain 977 and it only seems to charge my 2s lipo at a maximum rate of 2.5 amps. The battery capacity is 5800mah so I'd like to charge at 5 amps. I can charge NIMH batteries up to 5 amps with no problem. Is 2.5 amps the maximum charge rate for LiPos with this charger? I'm using a Great Planes Equinox balancer as a charging interfact since the 977 doesn't have the capability to balance.

Yes, that is correct. 2.5 amps is the max rate for 2S lipos.
