Force R/C Combat Heli's
Got my Heli's and ground target yesterday and these are my first impressions. Pretty damn fun right out of the box with one exception...the IR emitter is a shotgun. Seems to
have a "spread" effect like most IR emitters. I noticed a +/- of 2-3 feet above or below any enemy chopper and almost a 3-4 foot +/- hitting the ground target. This
was solved after the first flight by slipping on some shrink wrap tube (approx. 15x4 mm). This makes battling awesome!! You actually have to have some accuracy in your shot and can maneuver to avoid shots better. Also the IR emitter only stays on for a split second so no "slide" or "sweep" shots to nail mulitiple targets.....Boo! One other thing I noticed after a couple run in's with the couch is the battle unit can come slightly unplugged from the circuit board, could be held in palce with some hot glue or just check
it every now and then. If it does come loose you"ll know right away as your heli won't give or take hits and the colored light goes out. Overall a really fun and easy to operated heli and combat system. The two pics show the IR emitter with and without the shrink wrap extension.
