Default Motor Help / Thanks

I have an interest in getting into Quads. My goal is to eventually get a GoPro and do some aerial video.
Iam coming into this with a 20+ yr background in glow fuel rc. So I am trying to wrap my head around
the terminology of the electric motor.

.46 or 1.6 is pretty easy to understand. Where I am having trouble is with the KV and the names of
the motors and how to correlate that to what Iwant to do, what I expect it do and what that motor is
designed to do.

For example I'm not sure what the difference is between a KDA 36-12L 1000KV versus a
Turnigy D2836/9 950KV is and what it means to me. Prop size performance, weight carrying ability etc...
KD 36-12L Brushless Outrunner 100
I am looking at the HK Talon V2. I'd like to carry a small camera (Eventually a GoPro). So what type of
motors would I be looking at? Also how do you guys know what size props to put on them?

Anyone have an "Emotor terminology for dummies" link?

Thanks
