Very nicely built bodies. Here is another take on a new fuselage for the MQX. No modes to the vehicle is required and the flight characteristics has only got better. The pod is two parts with a top and bottom shell. Battery is velcroed in the open weapons bay. Two man crew based off of the old Boulton-Paul Defiant of WW2 vintage. Kind of Starwarish in nature. The components are kited at ten dollars each at http://parkflyerplastics.com/cart/in...ea9b6432085db1. I've got about two dozen flights on the new fuselage and plan on doing a new body in Euro 1 camo plus a little airbrushing to weather it out. Just a different twist on a great little vehicle. ed

Hi Ed,
The bodies you posted:
* Come in halves
* Need to be trimmed
* Need to be fitted
* Need to be taped
* Need to be glued
* Need to be prep for painting
* Need to painted
Require:
* Hobby Tools
* Tape
* Paints
* Glue
* Separate misc parts to make the guns
* Separate materials for the decals
* Velcro
2 Halves means:
* 2X the weight of the stock.
MIA Bodies Come RTIR Ready to Install and Run
* No Tools
* No Glue
* Vinyl Decals come with the Bodies
* No mods to the original Framework.
It is a nice comparison I just visited the link you posted. Some people like to assemble and some like it ready to go.
Folks have the option. I will have other bodies also in Military Camo as I already do with our MIA MD500E Scale Body Military colors.

You are a hundred precent right. They are kits not finished but to many that is the fun of it. I'm making no attempt to horn in on your thread which I thought was open but I could be mistaken. Something different for everybody I like something more than a little bug looking cap but again to each his own. Have fun. ed

Mario, your site is under construction. so, how much is the Phantom UFO kit with the Tough landing gear? I'd like a blue one with the cut outs in the canopy, not the solid disc.

love the body man looks great! post some pics when the camo is done
palmsizeheliman,
any chance of seeing some wipeout style bodies? by wipeout i mean the ships from the game wipeout on playstation? if so i would be extremely interested in buying some. something like the pirhana or EGX ships would be awesome. maybe not exactly like them, but something similar

MIA TUFF LG (TM) with Camera Mount for the Blade mQX, it comes with Integral G10 Fiberglass CNC machined plate mount and cushion antivibration pad for a Keychain or similar size and weight cameras.
The LG kit comprises of MIA Select TUFF black plastic hardware, same type we use on many of MIA products to provide a lightweight, practical and good looking assembly. This LG is taller than our typical MIA TUFF LG kits we make for helis, mainly to provide an added level of cushion and protection for the Blade mQX and camera. For those who have our MIA TUFF LG for the Quark SRB helicopters, it is very similar and wroks just as great!.
Works with all the MIA Canopies we offer for the Blade mQX for a meaner serious UFO look!
The lightweight simple self contained (No wiring) MIA Photon(TM) Navigation Light Universal Kit adds a standard red and green FAA color Lights ( to make it easier to spot the model at night time. Also looks pretty nifty! This comes with the necessary MIA TUFF black plastic hardware to make it super easy to mount as you wish, either on the frame itself or on the canopy.
We do a similar navigation light setup using the MIA Photon lights with the Walkera LadyBird, video here, yes I know the left LED should be green, I didnt have one at the time I did the video, but yes the kits come with a red and green lights.

RE: Blade mQX Canopy Upgrades Mods - UFO OVNI
I know this is an expensive hobby, but i think paying $20 for a little hunk of molded plastic is rediculous..i guess i am cheap. I bought a sheet of the same light weight plastic..took some modeling sculpie molded it into the shape i wanted it, and molded the plastic over it with a heat gun. the plastic sheet cost me $4.99 and i can make about 10 canopys out of it..i don't understand how ONE can cost $20.
