Default Y Copter CG?

I need to figure out where the CG on a Y copter with unequal motor lenghts is? I currently have the CG and CB where all the shafts meet. Problem is that because the tail motor is farther back along with extra hardware (servo, etc.), I have to move the battery to an extreme forward spot to get it to balance. It flies great, but I would like to know if that is the correct CG or if it should be further back.

Default RE: Y Copter CG?

i would call that correct. especially if you are wanting to do AP stuff. a more rearward CG will do better aerobatics. where ever you place the CG, remember to also place the control board so that it is centered over it.

sorry for the late reply
