Blade 350 QX Binding --- Help

I have tried (for hours) to bind my 350 QX to a DX5. It is a new DX5 (with the 3 position switch) that they sent me separately (the sent me the 350 QX BNF instead of the RTF ... so they sent me a transmitter separately). I've tried everything .... and still get the fast beeps.

Also, how do I know what to set the channel switches to ... REV or NORMAL .... for each channel ?

    Thanks. Bob

Hi Bob, this is a very advance bird I suggest you read the instructions a few times top to bottom. Not the whole book, just the first few pages about the Modes and binding. How exactly are you trying to bind them, step by step?

    Regards, Mario.

Try the thread in RC groups theres quite some interest. I have a DX8 and it did everything as per book.Although I didn't read manual, I did troll through scores of youtube vids. I only picked mine up yesterday so no expert yet.

Make sure all your switches are up or it won't bind. To bind, turn on the 350QX, wait for the blue flashing light, then turn on your DX5e with the trainer switch pulled back and hold it until you get the green light indicating that the 350QX is bound to the tx.
    I meant to do that.........

    Bob:

I don't know if you received an answer to your question or not, but I had the same problem with my 350QX and couldn't figure it out. As it turns out, you MUST have all your trims set to neutral before it will bind. This is what the fast beeping is. Also, if you are inside, try switching out of GPS mode. I finally set my DX7s trims to neutral and bingo, the quad bound. I hope this helps.

    Blade 350QX

Hello, I have two of these and both crashed in flight. The first on hovered and then crashed in the road about 6 feet above the ground. The ebay seller let me send it back for a new one or refund. The second one did the same thing yours did. I ended up taking it apart and found esc to motor squashed between the upper and lower parts. I am sure the first one had the same problem with wires squashed between the upper and lower haves. I also found three other wires from the main board, esc's and leds I am going to call horizon and see if this is a common problem with builds at the factory. They should be notified of this. Two out of two is pretty bad in my opinion.
