Default Mini-H Quad Help

Hello,

Looking at purchasing the Mini-H quad. I have been into quads for a while but need help w some parts etc.

I was looking at the mini-H quad arf combo-

http://www.minihquad.com/

with fatshark ptr system - http://www.getfpv.com/fatshark-pan-t...nt-servos.html

....

my questions are what transmitter should I get. I was looking at spektrum but saw some guy on youtube with another brand that had a ton of telemetry features.

How do I know I get the good telemtry stuff? I am familar with piloting and have flow sims and would like these features on my quad.

I also dont understand what boards I need that are quad specific? dont i need like a controller board telemetry board etc? i have no clue what to get in these areas. thanks

First things first, you dont need a dragonlink RC to control the quad, unless you are planning on flying long distance, which with a mini quad like that is very unlikely to happen due to their relatively short flight times. A compatible Spektrum 8 channel receiver will be fine. As for telemetry a better option in my opinion would be an OSD or on screen display. This is where all the information is displayed on the goggles themselves rather than the radio screen.
Mini quads aren't really suited to a pan and tilt FPV system due to their small size.
Flight controllers come in many varieties, from fully autonomous capable to those with nothing more than auto-level. It all depends on what you want to do and how much you want to spend.
Feel free to ask anything else.
