Default What is easiest small quad to fly indoors

I have been looking for a quad to fly indoors this winter. Something easy to learn to hover and fly in the house. I am retired and not a good pilot yet. Does something with SAFE technology or gyros help? Money is not the problem, just my flying ability. I have kind of been looking at the Blade 180 QX. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Larry

Get a Blade Nano QX. Great little indoor flier and it has prop guards. I fly the FPV version and it's great because it just bounces off the wall if I touch it

If you don't have a tx they have a rtf version http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blade-BLH768...item27f6edb372
There's even a cheap clone version.

The 180QX is a great flier. Probably better than the Nano QX but it's more suited for outdoors unless you have really big rooms. I have both. I love the nano for indoors.

Thanks a lot for getting back to me. I have come to the same conclusion about the Nano QX. Thanks again

Glad to be of help. If you want at some point to get into FPV and the like, I would highly recommend getting a Realflight G7.5 flight sim. I really like mine and it's really sharpened my camera skills.

It will also make you a better pilot.

mclarry47, I would recommend to start of with syma mini quadcopters like syma x11C which has a camera to have fun shooting videos, its one of the stable quads for beginners.

Not nearly as smooth as a Nano QX.
