motor flaky after ESC change
hi everybody,
I am new to the drone world. My first drone build. very intriguing. I'm sure there will be more.
I had my drone hovering pretty nicely after going through some PID changes' when all of a sudden it flips over, and down she goes.
found the ESC had lost its smoke. Replaced the ESC, now the motor will spin up, but sounds kinda strange, and when you throttle all the way down it stops abruptly. not like the other motors that gradually stop. I have synced the ESC's using cleanflight, no change. Is the motor possibly being over driven?
since then I have....
1: resoldered
2: replaced the motor
3: replaced the ESC a 2nd time.
4: changed the esc signal cable to another channel
5: checked voltage on the power bd. 12v ok
Am I missing something? could i have 2 ESC's with the same bug?
confusingly yours,
jeff
