If not into photography, why get a multi?

Hello
Been thinking a lot about getting a DJI FW450, but everybody at my club tells me that the only 'use' is for photograpy. And I sort of think that they have a point. So, does anyone fly these for just the fun of it - are they any fun to fly, what can they do - or would I be better off getting just one more heli?

A good aerobatic quad can do loops and rolls. They are also great for FPV. You can also get Curtis Youngblood quad that is 3D capable. I would suggest getting something like a V222 and learn for yourself what they will do.

With little practice flips can be fun not too mention night flying

You must have a lot of old farts in your club. Look at this channel. I'd say quads are anything but boring.
