Airfield P47 with Retracts
Retracts were ripped out and I added forward rake for the clumpy grass.
hardwood rails and gorilla glue did the trick.
This was the maiden flight at our Veterans fly-in last week.

Is that the stock power setup?
From the looks of it your plane has PLENTY of power... you could hand launch it by going full throttle and just letting it go from your hand!

yea, totally stock. Well, I put the eTraks on it cause the eTract version was not available when I ordered. I raked the gear forward some 40mm for the center of the tire for stability. I could hand launch and I've seen people do it but the landing gear works great on the grass. I've got the scale take offs and landings dialed in now. I need new video. I mounted servos for bomb drops. Gonna test it this week. These look BEAUTIFUL in the air with that metalic paint.

Cool, I just flew mine yesterday, got it second hand, corrected the CG which is very far off in the manual, but it flies on rails, super predictable, no bad habits, alot of fun. Its an older one with the 3 blade [:@] prop on it... I put about 8oz of lead in the nose, and used a 4s 4000 pack, other than that its stock.
But the plane is a blast.
