Default Sky Trainer ESC

Just got the red Sky Trainer version 3. The speed contoller in it, does it have a low voltage cutoff?

Is the low voltage based on a percentage of what the initial voltage is or a specific voltage? When the battery gets low, is it a soft or hard shut off, in other words does the motor run in spurts so it can be landed?
