AirField RC P-51 Marie (57") retract replacement
My retract broke, the worm drive rod broke, after a semi hard landing. Where can I find replacement? If not what other retract will fit?
Will this one fit:

Thanks

I have the same problem with the replacement retract. I was under the impression that the 312 from Hobby King has a 90 degree twist in addition to the 90 degree retract.
I've also seen someone post a DSR46 replacement solution, but being a newbie am a bit leery of investing bucks for a possible non-solution. Also unless I'm wrong the "standard" strut didn't seem to have any shock absorption capabilities (perhaps which is why mine cracked!).
Another solution apparently offered the landing gear with retracts for apprx 51 US.
http://www.hobby-paradise.com/en/pro...159c251a2e6962This is for the FMS 1450mm P51.
I decided to keep looking for just the retract solution rather than pay for wheels and struts I already have and can scavange for the new retract.

The ones from HK have a bracket you install to do the 90 degree rotation. If you leave it of it fits the Mustangs, if you put it on it fits the P-40's and Corsairs.
