Default Lancair 120 size...

I just purchased a new Lancair 360 MK II, 120 size, from a friend who has been deployed overseas with the army... It is built but there are some questions concerning, installing the fuel tank, the servo locations and the open hole where the retracts may go... Is there anyway I can get the instructions on this airplane?

It has the gear installed and is not set up for retracts.... a red material is over the large hole in the nose...... I also need to know how the hinges were installed and a few other questions... Where do I cut the fuse to run the aileron extensions from the wing in to the fuse? Thanks...

Richard

Here is a manual that may help, but it is not identical.

[link=http://ak-models.com/ARF%20Manuals/Lancair-120%20manual.pdf]Lancair 120 - Click me![/link]

Note that these manuals are very "sparse" at best.

As such these ARF's are suited to an experienced builder with at least several other ARF's under their belt.

Manuals rarely cover things like retracts, etc... .which is left up to you.

I would suggest getting help from a local club member.

I want to be sure where to cut the fusealage for the wiring coming in from the wings....

The fuel tank does not fit secure... I can correct that but wanted to see how it should have been...

The tail section is designed to come apart but I am not sure how it was put together... rod?, glue? etc...

the hole for the nose gear retract is just covered with some tape... not wood... this lanciar will not have retracts....

balance point

Thanks...

I realize there has been a lot of time since you asked your questions. I have had this model in the box for several years and just decided to build it. I have the instruction manual (for what it is worth knowing CMP) and can possibly answer your questions if they still exist.........
