Default Falcon 120

I thought I would try emailing Nitro Planes a question, now that they are improving their customer service. Here is the question;

I want to buy the new Falcon 120, but I don't like either of the two color schemes you currently show. Will you be having any other color schemes?

I got a prompt response saying "See our website".

Well, since the website only shows the two color schemes that I don't like, that wasn't too helpful. I emailed them again, asking the same question, but being more specific.

It's been a week now with no response, so I thought I would ask here.

Will you be offering the Falcon 120 in any color schemes other than the two currently on your website?

Yes we'll have more color scheme in the future but it really depends on how well is the sales on the falcon 120.

Thanks

I like the red, white and blue USAF scheme on the Bobcat 50, or something similar to the Red Arrows DF. I also like the red and white (without the black) Navy/Coast Guard style scheme on the OV10 Bronco.

Actually, the white Falcon 120 wouldn't be bad at all if it were red instead of orange.

When can we expect more detailed information about the Falcon 120?

Are the wings sheeted?

What retracts will it accept?

I'm ready to order one, but I need more information first.

Re: Retracts

The 12-18lb or greater Robart retracts will work...

Re: Sheeted

Yes.

Re: Pump

Pumped or non-pumped engines will work but basically that is up to you.

Pumped engines are easier to tune and have fewer problems with tank placement and tuning variations as the fuel level changes.

Non-pumped engines can work almost just as well if you are diligent about how you set up your fuel system plumbing.

Thanks opjose. Can't decide between a OS 1.60 or a Saito 180 FS. I know I will go turbine before it's over though. Thanks again. Hooker53

On this plane you want high RPM's so that it will unload in the air.

I believe the OS 1.60 will give you more than the Saito will, so the O.S. should be a better choice.... but it will inhale fuel.
